Magnolia United Methodist Church is hosting a series of lectures on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 1, 2, and 3, 2011. The lectures will be held at the church at 419 Commerce Street in Magnolia.

About the Speaker
Dr. James W. Fleming is a pre-eminent scholar of Biblical archaeology, history and interpretation. He is unsurpassed in his ability to illustrate and make Biblical text come alive. His teaching skills and techniques astound and inspire audiences around the world. Dr. Fleming is Director of the Biblical Resources Study Center, Jerusalem, Israel and serves as an advisor for Biblical Conferences at First Methodist, Houston.
Jim Fleming’s lively and unique teaching style weaves together four perspectives for a better understanding of Biblical times: archeology, history, geography, and theology. He uses an ecumenical approach to suggest implications of old and recent discoveries to assist us in our faith journey.
