The Magnolia United Methodist Church Handbell Choir began almost 2 decades ago. The first two octaves of handbells were donated to the church by Joyce Sanders. A few years later, Bonnie Young (seen below) donated a third octave. The handbell choir aids in worship services by providing special music every third Sunday. They have also played for special services in the church and town events. In 2013, the handbell choir began playing for assisted living facilities as well. Many ringers in the handbell choir had never picked up a handbell before, but felt called to offer up their talents for the Lord.
